1. Dog
2. Leash
3. Collar or harness
4. Reward treats- these MUST BE soft small morsels that can be chewed and swallowed quickly. Kibble or dry/dehydrated treats that can't be quickly eaten disrupt the flow of learning while the dog is learning. Dehydrated food is just plain messy and contaminates equipment and search areas. You need to bring a lot of treats....if you think you have too many, you need to bring more! If you think your dog has an extremely high toy/hunt drive, you can bring the dog's favorite toy.
5. A good fun attitude! If you aren't having fun, neither is the dog.
Tuesday afternoons
Sessions at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM
DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, WE'VE HAD TO TEMPORARILY CANCEL THIS CLASS.

You must fill out the application and provide proof of rabies at your first class.
This clinic is to introduce you and your dog to the Rally format used by the Australian Shepherd Club of America. There are very few trials in southern California (2 in Anaheim and 1 in Dehesa/El Cajon). However, the benefit of learning and trialing with ASCA is that you get another chance to compete and play with your dog and still earn titles. If you are already in an advanced level, going back to Novice may a great way to practice and refine skills in a competitive arena.
All breeds of dogs are accepted in ASCA Rally. The clubs normally do 2 trials per day so, theoretically, you could earn two titles in a year. Judges for these shows are different from the AKC shows so you can get a different perspective from these judges.
Every team is guaranteed turns on the course.
