6. Sit and down on command-stay in place. You show your dog can do a sit and a down, select one of those positions, leave your dog and go to the end of a 20 foot line. You will return to your dog.
7. Coming when called. Your dog will do a sit or down stays, you will walk 10 feet away then call your dog to you.

From the instructor, Kyle:
Tricks can be a fun way to perk up a dogs interest in learning something new. This class will focus on teaching your dog fun tricks and can help create a closer bond with your furry friend.
You can earn AKC titles or participate just for fun.
What we will strive for:
-Tricks all start with basics... *Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Stand
-Dogs will learn what comes next after the basics as part of a routine for learning tricks.
-A variety of new commands and trick behaviors will be presented that fulfill the requirements for the AKC Novice Trick Dog Title.
-The fourth week will be testing for Novice and Intermediate Trick Titles.
If you are testing for Intermediate Trick Title without taking the class, you must bring your previous Novice test sheet as previous tricks cannot be repeated.
